    Generally females are more docile, except for a few exceptions. My female was incredibly aggressive, and she has bitten me many, many times.

    I made my own planter for my enclosure. Make sure it is waterproof (Mold could grow). You can waterproof it by spraying some flexseal on it.

    Plants I would recommend are pothos,ficus, draceana and a few others. Typically as long as it’s not poisonous it’s safe. I get all my plants from the Lowe’s near my house.

    New light; Cham hissing

    When I got an automatic mister my chameleon hissed at it and got all dark. I assume they are just freaked out at whatever new thing they see. If it your basking spot was too hot, your chameleon would most likely avoid it not hiss at it. Just my guess.
