I would not purchase from backwater reptiles. Lots of reviews claim that the reptiles they ordered came DEAD. When i bought some green banana roaches from them they gave me the wrong size and all but 4 of them were dead.

I know FL chams sell them. Good luck finding some for sale!

I always assumed they started to grow the horns when they reach sexual maturity. I don't know if thats true or not though.

I agree with sharpshooter. A reptile expo is a great place to get your chameleon, supplies, and get to know breeders. You need to be careful though, some people tend to overprice things, or purposely sell you a sick animal.

Dust feeders with calcium w/o d3. Do calcium with d3 and multivitamin a few times a month ( I dont remember the exact number). Also your chameleon looks way older than 3-4 months probably 6-7 months maybe (possibly older). Not to mention “he” looks at lot more like a “she”. Can’t be too sure...

When I got my chameleon she was very fat and lethargic. The petstore gave her mostly just superworms (Apparently crickets kept escaping from the reptile cages). He definitely looks on the smaller side. A smaller cage might work but they really need the vertical space.
