Here is today's pic. It looks slightly better, but not much improvement, in my opinion.

    Casque Burn

My veiled cham had a small burn on his casque. It's been a little over two weeks since he got it, and nothing seems that improved. His light is moved and the vine that he can use to bask is about 6" away now. I have Silver Sulfadiazine to apply to his casque, will this be sufficient in...

Noticed this today on Cham's Casque

Ohhh thank you! I hope it's only that! He hasn't had a problem with it being too hot before. The upper- middle temp of his kennel is 80-82 Fahrenheit so that makes his upper-upper kennel about 92-95. I moved his little vine down about 2 inches. Hopefully he heals and keeps his lovely casque...

Noticed this today on Cham's Casque

And here is this one. His casque seems to have lost its lumps and turned thinner. I'm concerned!!!

Noticed this today on Cham's Casque

hey guys! I have some concern for my little guy MoJo. He started shedding this past week. I've been taking pictures because I thought his casque looked fuller than normal and I've read that's where they store water so I thought cool I'll capture this as a memory. Then today I noticed something...

And I ordered mine so they were more pricey. I paid $10 for the hornworms but $12 for overnight shipping

    Grey Poop Healthy Poop?

If two a week help keep them up to par, I'll do it! Also, thank you!:LOL: I always tell him he's so pretty and he looks at me like "Don't you try to eat me. I'll hiss!!"

    Grey Poop Healthy Poop?

Thank you for replying, all! A hotter basking light improved the digestion and now all we are worrying over is his urates that are small and more yellow than white. He's going to be getting an automatic mister soon and he just ate 4 small hornworms for hydration for today!:D

    Chameleon tongue use

Also, if his poop is yellow and black, you need to hydrate him more often. Yellow is the urate and it's supposed to be white to mostly white.

I hand mist so far. Getting an automatic mister is on my list of things to do in next week or two! Until then?

Beautiful cham! I was thinking he looked a bit thin... But his legs look rather plump, so I wasn't sure... But then I looked at his casque and I'm just not positive of it. Do you have a gram scale? Perhaps measure his weight.

    Chameleon Poop 101

Right?! Speaking of poop and urates, I just fed my little zenomorph 3 hornworms to hydrate him because his urates haven't been beautiful. He's got a dripper and is misted several times a day. How can I better encourage drinking? I've moved the dripper several places. Any ideas??:unsure:

Yeah, my guy makes varying poo consistencies depending on food (crickets, wax worms, or super worms) o_O I'm always happy to see a good poop and to see him eating! Keep an eye on both! @wildek
