Thinking of getting a Male veiled chameleon (not for breeding purposes. Just a new family memeber.) My question is should I get one as a baby, juvenile, young adult or an adult? What would you recommend?
I was wanting to get a Male (husband wants him) later on petsmart here has a young one. Should I not get him? I dont think I have any breeders around here. The girl has the set up that came with the cage she has had it on him for a while now. Told her she would have to get the t5ho but I was...
I just laughed at the comment she got rude with me. Trust me I'm not going with anything they say, they also suggest the 5.0 instead of the 10.0, I'm sticking with you guys. Ive been learning alot from all of you and Grasshopper and I appreciate everything you guys have helped us with.
Another question nothing to do with me or my cham, that group I'm in on Facebook has a girl talking about her cham falling over alot, losing balance. Some lady told her she needed to have her humidity at 20%. Correct me if wrong trust me she did I thought it was supposed to be between 40-70%
Humidifier off durning day is between 50-64 and night time with it off is 67-73 (most the time.) I've been running it constant since she was dehydrated but shes doing awsome now. I only run it when it goes close to 70 but with the misting it's been staying between 50-64% so haven't been using it...
Yes on all I have a humidifier sitting beside her runs all day and night just to be safe. Humidity goes closer to 70s at night when I dont mist. I mist her in the morning 10 minuets after the lights come on 8am then 12pm and once more at 4pm.
Good to know I've been doing it right lol, one said everytime you mist you should shut the light off for a few minuets or they get burned. False as well?
How do you guys give your chams bee pollen? And how often? I was thinking get the powder and dust a couple crickets with it, once a month. Any advice? I just know it's good for them.
