This is her new enclosure, it's not finished yet I have more flowers to put in and 87 foot of Ivy Leaf vines and 9 more bamboo to place. I'm just trying to figure out the bottom before doing it all.
So I was wanting to put a bottom in her enclosure (a drawer) filled with soil and plant all the flowers inside of it and cover the top of the soil with river rocks. The drawer is hand made just like the cage to fit perfectly inside. was going to do it that way I wont have to worry about water...
I will for sure watch for the birds, she will be in an enclosure I was thinking putting her half sun half shade we have a few banana trees that help with the shade. Thanks for all the advice guys, and I will post pictures later.
I love that! I've been adding everyday and it just isnt enough so I just keep getting more, I've ordered 87 foot of fake ivy Garland. I have about 9 more pieces of bamboo and 21 foot of vines to place.
Yes I have the 24" light. I'm not finished with her new enclosure I'm wanting to add more plants and vines. Just not to sure what other plants would go good inside. Getting a picture now
I've been seeing different people placing thier lights. I have the T5-HO liner, I've seen people put them straight across the top of the cage and I've seen them have them diagonally. What would be the best way to put her light?
So I was wanting to take grasshopper out side tomorrow supposed to be sunny and 76°. Is that still to cool for her? And how long should she hang out side for?
Ok just wasnt sure I saw on here were they used them to keep the humidity in the enclosure because they couldn't keep it in between 40%-50% just curious.
This is the one I'm working on. It's all hand built. Decided to build a good nice big one. Not finished yet though the bamboo I'm going to put green velvet on and some vines. Going to place sand on the bottom, and add more on the inside (plants)
