Yes. I have a lot of trouble getting him to drink. He has a humidifier that keeps the whole cage covered in droplets. I mist him extra times. I even follow him around with the hand mister set on point and squirt it in his mouth....his urate is white. But, i dont like that ring around his eyes so...
Pothos would give you a safe plant AND alot of vines to walk around on. Dont be timid to start pruning it like you want it. The growers make it full and robust. We need walking space so cut some of those leaves off if they are in the way
Also, Im trying out getting a screen kit at Home Depot...
I would take her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have that bacteria that reptiles get...they call it 'mouthrot' and their jaw bone gets weak and mushy. Just a thought.
Sorry, but to finish the repti sun 5.0 are good but if you have a large area for him to move in, a 10.0 is better. I borrowed a light meter from my vet and discovered some disturbing stuff re the whole light deal.. Brand new exoterra only have the minimum amount of...I don't know what it's...
Your know, I read that they can even eat venomous spiders, so, yes, it did occur to me that she had a uri but, Bob, this was acute acute. She was absolutely fine 1 hr before. No stringy zuf in her mouth, no gaping, no symptoms, whatsoever. But, i did keep a sharp eye on her and peered inside her...
Jan, I usually turn stuff off when the sun sits near the horizon. But thats going to be about 5 oclock starting in Nov. I think your 4 oclock thing will be perfect for us too
So, you keep your misters on, really all night? You never let your cage dry out? Mmmmmm. I thought it was best to turn everything off at night to let it get dry. You know, so mold doesnt grow.
My chameleons all seem to be going to sleep pretty early now. When i get home at 7, the young ones are already sleeping. I was thinking that I should turn their mister off earlier too. When do any of you stop misting
Yes. I let her sit on my shoulder and play w my hair for an hour. I can hear her inhale sometimes
Do you think it was from the spider. Im ready go call an exterminator, I gyess, but that cant be good for all 5 of them, u no?

I just got home from work. I looked in Zero's cage. No Zero. (Female, panther, 10months old, got here with frozen back legs, never sick in her life)Then there, in the plant, at the bottom, she was. Hiding. I reached in, knowing something was wrong. I pulled her out foam covering her lips...
I answered you, Replife, but somehow I dont know where the answer is. Anyhow, Ill answer you again and if you find the other one....hahaha
So while I started putting everything together tipped my little bowl with the mister thing in it and it took it to the side and steam came rolling out down...
I have a large cage for my female panthers. Its 30" tall but its 50" long. It has a 10" bin on 1 side and another 10"
bin that is empty, to catch water on the other side. She has a giant plant that stretches across both sides. The girls seem to love their cages. They walk around, hide, climb and...
