Annnnnnnndddd........ Welcome to the forums!
This is normal behavior for a new cham in a new space. He'll probably do this to some degree for the first 2-3 weeks, and if the nervous/skitishness continues, then that might be a problem. Can you post pictures of your enclosure and the little guy?
Hey people! I'm really excited because I'm planning on building a custom enclosure for my Veiled, Nik. I was looking at LYR for lights, since I've seen several raving reviews about them. However, all the lighting talk is getting me confused and I'm not sure what to buy. So, can anyone out there...
Hey guys!
I am creating a small superworm colony, and was wondering whether to use whole oats. The superworm containers from the store have tiny mashed up oats, and the whole oats look HUGE in comparison. What do ya'll use?
Second, I am coming up with a plan for a new enclosure for Nik. It'll...
how do you get them to come back down? Temperatures are rising here in Cinci, so I was considering taking Nik outside. We have a forest for a backyard, sure he'd love that....
how much space do crickets need? I'm thinking about buying them (eventually) 500 at a time. Would a large rubbermaid tub do the trick,or do I need something bigger?
The last picture had me laughing so hard. He is the king, surveying his subjects....
"You dare approach me, peasant? feed me bugs as penance for your crimes..."
I'm really confused. What was the problem in the first place? from the picture that cham looks fine. Why did you ask for help when you wouldn't give us any sort of helpful information? We're not here to judge you or your chams, but we are here to help. We can't do that if, from what we can tell...
At what age should you start feeding them less food? mine is 7/8 months and eats like a horse, and I'm breeding superworms behind my mothers back... I'm worried that by the time I get a good colony up and growing he won't be able to eat them all.
Yep, it seems like it's a bad nose itch to them. However, they can scratch the itch right off! Us stupid apes-of-the-hamburgers(reference to zefrank1's video on chameleons) have to deal with it ALL DAY LONG. Stupid humans.:love:
