Yes this has happened to us before.
Sometimes our moths last a while and some seem like they only last a couple of days.

We have all of our enclosures leaning forward and have a pvc tub running along the shelving unit in front of the enclosures. Then on a slant and all the water runs out of the enclosures, into the pvc and down into a bucket.

That’s what I would have done. It’s actually one extra step. Boil in water at 100 Celsius for 30 seconds, dry, place in freezer bag, get as much air out as possible and freeze. Good for 120 days.
