That was my thought as well.. Looks like you're using a dripper. Are you not misting as well? Water is going to go right through that wood on the bottom in a short time and cause molding. (i know from experience)
I think Carol is right about the stress. Like she said, theirs a lot of reasons for color changes. However, when the other turns a more light green when one male is removed, I have to believes it's because Hes glad the other is out of there. I'd either return 2 of the charms or buy more cages...

I am from Utah where it is quite dry as well. I wrapped my cages in plastic (shower curtains). I usually would do 2 sides of the cage. It will boost your humidity up to where it needs to be.
i would not worry about buying one online as long as you use a site sponsor. They are all very dependable. Or even from a forum member. You can tell the guys that are legit and the ones that are not..

Also, yes turn the basking light BACK on. If he is to hot, he wont be in the basking light and will move to cooler temps of the cage.
Do you hear any Popping noises? Do you see any large amounts of saliva?
Kind of sounds like a RI to me (Respiratory Infection).
I personally dont think its form over heating.

I noticed your temp gauges are at the bottom of the cage. You need to measure the temps of the basking spot. So a gauge will need to be where the basking branches are. 60 degrees at the bottom is perfectly fine, and is actually desired.
