Thank you @ERKleRose for answering must must be annoying newby questions for me.
Thank you everyone.
As far as color, this is about it
I'm going back to that store tomorrow to trade HER for a larger, confirmed male.
At the shop owners invitation.
I just went in for an other photo op and I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT find him/her.
With that new cage and all of that new foliage! It took me over 10 minutes to locate him deep inside a plant in the "addition" area.
Scary.
I'll get more photos.
And I'll probably bring him back to the store on Monday...
I'll try again later on
He/she is hiding in the far back of the cage again and I don't want to continue to stress him out.
I'll ask the shop owner his age.
The store employee wasn't very knowledgeable.
(Apparently)
I'll keep checking in on him/her and watch for him to stretch out
The shop I bought him from said male.
Some other folks suggest female.
He or she is about 7 weeks old and very small.
It's an Ambilobe and I have 3 days left to exchange him for another.
I want a male.
Please give me your best guess.
Here he/she is showing a bit of male in the vent area and with a flash of blue on the cheek.
@Gingero
Anyone else?
I've made a new post that asks the specific question.
(Like I should've originally)
That's holding together a seam that I siliconed
He's not able to access that side yet.
I've already had a bad duct tape experience about 6 months ago.
Thanks.
Actually this was out of necessity.
I had extra medium REPTIBREEZE cages.
I needed a larger one for a new, growing baby.
So I made this.
It's nearly ready.
A bad back stopped me from completing it today.
He's currently hiding in the far back of the cage.
I've spoken to the owner of the shop. And he has assured me that all 3 of the Panthers in that cage were male.
I'll mention the business and the end result soon.
