    No he is not free range . I bought him from petco (I know i know not a good idea but he's alive) so I think that's his issue but my personal fear is a fungus or mucus on his skin.:cautious::mad:

    Im not sure what it is but my veiled has a spot like that on his left side under his left back knee. But mine looks clear in the middle with black fading to brown.

    I have not found out how and when bsfl pupate? What causes it? And what can I do to pupate some? My veiled isn't to found of them but I want to see if he likes the bsf fly's.

    That's what the L brackets are for, the 2x2s are pretty rigid I cant bend the with my hands and I'm no wimpy arm. My dad suggested the middle cross pieces (as he is a carpenters son and was worried about bowing.)

    To be honest im not worried about appearance, he just needs a bigger cage NOW. I was also just going to staple the mesh to the 2x2s but making sure to keep it safe for him and me.

    So for Christmas my parents got me 2x2s, L brackets and screws. So I am looking for cage plans or idea's this is the best I have come up with so far.

    I have the seeds in my hand and they grow fast. I'm sure my mom has some other plants but this was all I was familiar with (we do lots of gardening in the summer).
