Updated pictures of Tiger! Taken roughly 2 months ago, Tiger is around 7-8 months old here. As you can tell from the pictures when Tiger is out in the sun he is a lot lighter in color then the pictures taken from inside.

Hydro balls are used for drainage. You would not want to use one as a substrate, the hydro balls are fired clay balls that absorb extra water, they would essentially starve the plant of essential water.
