possibly making it so, on a set date, no photos can be entered/submitted into the photo contest category. make the link not accessible or just some way to keep late entries from being posted.
she looks kind of large in the belly area. she may be full of eggs. if that's the case she probably needs a vet asap. make sure her laying bin has coverage
yes it is the same plant and is safe for them. yellowing of the leaves is due to under watering of the plant, crappy soil or lack of sunlight. show it some plant love and should be back to green in no time.
it's finally nice enough out to get the boys some real sun. Temps are just now getting high enough to have them outside so today was the day and they loved it. I don't think they were ready for it to be over.
my timer for the mister goes off for the first time one hour after lights come on which is about 30 min after the sun is up. gives the Viv time to warm up so they don't get hit with a cold shower as soon as their eyes open
for sure it's the safest bet. if you see a good refered vet there really shouldn't be any guessing. good luck hope he comes out ok and the vet can give you good news
I'd say not eating and losing weight are cause for a vet visit. weight is lost over a lomg.versus short period of time so this may be something that has been wromg for a while. a little blood out of the tail can tell whats going on. if he's not eating anything there is possibly something serious...
get a dripper set up as soon as possible. post a pic of her/him to help. what temp and humidity do you have? what kind of uvb bulb are you using? misting them directly is OK and helps with their shedding too. just don't drown him/her
possibly. if there's not enough humidity/moisture he may just be trying to thermo regulate and get to a cooler spot. maintain the proper basking temp and humidity and he should be fine. sometimes shedding can effect appetite just a little too
