My thought of the heat bulbs is if they caused fires easliy than why would anyone have reptiles?
Ive never heard of a heat lamp catching fire before. Considering its the same bulbs you use to light your home. I leave lights on and yet to cause a fire :)
I wouldnt leave gutload stuff in the cage. I would recommend having crickets separated. I wouldnt thibk the gel stuff would be safe for your chameleon if he gets some with a cricket
Plus ive heard that crickets can attempt to nibble on chameleons, dont know this 100%

From what ive gathered its hard on there eyes to use colored lights. Same with spiral uvb lights.
I would add more perches/vines and hiding spots. Maybe a few more live plants as well.

His drainage tub is abou a foot below plus I drained it a day early when I saw him there. I normmally drain it every other day or two. Might do it everynighr now if hes gunna sleep there

Just an update: Argo went back today for his check up and got the all clear frim the vet. Not only is he feeling better but he has put on 3 grams in 2 weeks so yea!
