All my kids have their own reptile. My younger girls 6 and 7 have a crested gecko each. They handle them. The youngest will handle every reptile I have. The 2 male panther chameleons (mine) , 1 male beardie (wife's), 1 female leopard gecko (sons), 1 male Gargoyle Gecko (wife's) and 2 female...
Try more like 4hrs. My home is currently not accepting anymore scaled beasts at the moment either. Thanks for thinking of me though. This is posted in the "Colorado Chameleon Club" Facebook Group my wife and I Admin as well.
Mine does this as well. He dislikes the mistings. Aka he hates water. Mine will violently shake his head to the point where I've seen him hit his head on the branch he was on.
Humidity plays a roll in hydration. Especially at night. The theory is that while sleeping and breathing at night with high humidity you'll have less water loss to the animal. It also has an effect on the animals joints and respiratory system.
Think of humans for instance. We buy expensive...
Get a male. More color, more impressive size, longer life span. Also more expensive because of this. I'd suggest an Ambilobe Panther male. We have some excellent breeders on this site if you need any help just let us know.
The exception is North Dakota. I've gotten 30 gallons out of 1 filter here in Colorado with 200ppm TDS reading. 30 gallons of distilled here is 98¢ a gallon. I buy filters on ebay on average of $11 a filter. The more you filters you buy the better the deal. Better yet think of all the plastic...
Haha I wish I was! It depends where you live and how crappy your tap water is. Mine tests at 200ppm usually and that's the average for the US. I get admit 30 gallons out of 1 filter.
Or worse case scenario a Mistking pump itself. I've been using and testing my zero water pitcher for over a month now. No issues. Pur and Brita do not use ion exchange to filter their water. So things like Lead and chromium easily pass through the charcoal filters of those companies. The ion...
If you're using a misting system or a humidifier the Pur filter will just screw you over. Look into the Zero Water pitcher. They sell them at Walmart. Uses ion exchange filter to remove all Dissolved Solids from your tap water.
Thanks James! Yeah he's a hypo, Leatherback, HET trans. On certain occasions you can see his rainbows of orange, yellow, red, and blue /purple bars. Love this dude! Probably be breeding him with a female of less genetics this June. Got a friend with a beautiful yellow leatherback.
Just bought 2 cups of 20. All arrived healthy. Unfortunately the USPS decided to send them to the wrong Post Office for some reason though. All good though.
