Silly Colorado can't make up its mind right now. 80s 2 weeks ago, snowed, 70s last week, snowed, 60 today and supposed to snow again tomorrow and Friday..... Annoyed and over it
It filters everything ee don't want in our misters but it filters even the good minerals as well. However like Jill said we supplement these things in their diets anyways so it's no big deal. Rainwater is RO water if you really think about it. How ion exchange works is by either negativly or...
Corona, corona, corona.... Once upon a time it was my favorite beer..... Now it's the cause of store shelves being left empty....
I hit a predicament one day. I was completely out of distilled water for my humidifier and misters and I went to Walmart to purchase my usual 9 gallons a week. But...
Glass is best in Colorado. 36x18x36 Exoterra. Or the Dragonstrand hybrid which is specifically made for chameleon keeping. You could also buy the xl reptibreeze and put a window insulation kit on it to keep in humidity.
Always use distilled, RO, or Ion Exchanged water to avoid clogging your misters or humidifiers. The stuff they send us in the tap is just pure nastiness. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to distilled or RO water you should check out the company Zero Water. It's a water pitcher with a...
He seems like a sweet boy though. And very pretty. I hope he feels and gets better soon. When you add more branches add some more foliage for the big guy too. I'll post some pics of my setups so you can have an idea. Now I'm not saying what I have is the "gold standard" if you have the money go...

Chameleons need height over length or width. So a 3x3x2 might be a little short for a panther. Most people use screen enclosures 2x2x4 and some use glass like the 36x18x36 Exoterra. Screen is best if you live in high humidity environments and glass is best if you live in a dry and arid climate...
Severely dehydrated. Petsmart is not where chameleons want to go. She needs fluids and fast! May have to sirange feed. She also looks underweight. Book an appointment for her at a reputable reptile vet if you're set on keeping her. Otherwise take her back and we can help you get a healthy Veild.
I made the mistake of giving a male veiled too many hornworms and got a nice mess to clean because of it. Hornworms are great for hydration but too many can cause loose stools. I'd recommend maybe 1 or 2 a week tops.
It looks like diarrhea to me. I'd remove the waterfall all together though. Keep an eye on her. Next time she produces a fecal id save it and run it to a vet for a fecal exam just to be safe though. Could be internal parasites, could be too much hornworms.
