The sticks are hot glued to the side of the tub at one end and shoved inside of the soil at the other end. I’ve done a test by shaking the hell out of the tub and everything seems to stay in place quite well. Few more safety precautions and I think we’re ready to roll.
Screen top finished.
Gonna add hygrometer/thermometer, a few wooden dowel branches on the inside and see if I can’t make this a decent little travel hut.
I’m planning on sticking a rubber Mat down at the bottom so the plants will not slide around, plus I may even Hotwire a fan to come on every 30 minutes to keep the air moving and so it won’t get too warm. The UVB fixture at 3 inches puts off about 89 degrees. I’m gonna have it proped up so that...
I mean he was shipped to me in a small plastic container with just paper towels, from the time he was packaged up, taken to the post office, put on a plane and delivered to my door at the age of 3months old he was inside of that packaging for 12+ hours. So I figure a very healthy 8 month old...
What wouldn’t you do again? I apologize I’m not clear on what you mean.
I’m plannin on cutting the top of this lid to make it an almost full screen top travel enclosure, this is what I have tell me what you think.
I wish there was another way to do this, but I can’t ship him. So he’s just...
I’m planning on making a 14 hour drive from Georgia back to my home in Texas, I’m thinking maybe get a dark Tupperware container. To limit visual stress, but i’d Drill decent size holes for ventilation and to install my hygrometer/thermometer. Adding limbs and maybe his pathos. With a towel on...
Just a few more pictures to show what he does. I don’t think it’s a problem, I think that’s just what some Chams like to do. Just like people, have the ones who are crazy active, then you have the ones who like to just hang out and relax in a comfortable spot. Think it just depends on the...
KP does the same thing though, he spends about 75% of his time moving around his basking side of his enclosure, and when he finds a spot he likes he lays sideways to get more surface area for more heat, looks exactly like the one in the picture. It’s odd for a Cham to do this? I figured they’re...
See I was thinking about that but now I have a problem with them in my Cham enclosure too, they’ve spread from my living room crested enclosure to my chams enclosure so I would have to get a ton of carnivores lol but hell may just have to do that. Thank you!
Actually, the order did infact come through. It took a little longer then expected to ship them, and they were hard to get ahold of but the products I received were high quality. I got a colony of tropical springtails, dwarf grey and purple isopods, and some ABG mix. All cultures were well...
@kinyonga no I don’t have any lights on him at night, only thing that illuminates is my tv. Which he’s facing but he sleeps in the back corner where the black hard plastic board is.
And I don’t know what you mean when you ask if it’s producing any other color, I have two t5 flourecent tube...
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Vieled, either 7-8 months old, had him since October 3rd.

Feeding - 8 large crickets, 4 super worms, black soldier fly larva as treats. As posted above. Feed him every day when I wake up...
It seems that KP is a little on the small side for his age. He should be around 7-8 months old at this time, but when I compare him to other Chams his age he seems to look small. He’s healthy, filled out, hydrated well.
I usually feed him around 8 large crickets, and 4 super worms on...
