Take a look at my posting “enclosure ideas that may help you” I have a part in there where I show how I hung my 8 pound pothos from the top of the enclosure (y)
Haha no bigger then the misting nozzle, I know you remember that. It’s crazy how fast they grow. Little dude is on his way to becoming a big healthy male. With an attitude to match lol I just wish he was a little nicer but still love him regardless lol
And here’s the man of the hour, he’s grumpy as hell cause he’s been shifted around so much but I think he understands why now. Already enjoying his basking spot. I give you KP, and his new home. Hope this helps for anyone looking for ideas, and hopefully I can get someone to say “wow that looks...
Thank you for that, I really appreciate it! I’m glad to see people are liking it,
So here we go, I believe i’m Done! Have everything in, and I think it looks almost exactly like I pictured. There’s a few More things I need to get, but all in all I’m happy about it and I think KP will enjoy it...
Just got the hanging pothos in, and it’s working really well. It holds the weight with ease.
I used hemp cord again, drilling holes in the pot and running the cord through to create a loop, then I used another piece to fasten it to the hanging hoop. All in all think it looks good and worked the...
Added some plastic to the rear of the enclosure to ward off against spray and also help contain humidity. Again I used zip ties to attach a piece of painters plastic to the back. Got it nice and taught then cut the peremiter so that the plastic will not be visible from the sidesof the enclosure...
I use the blue Repti-Calcium powder without D3 at every feeding, then I use the Green Repti-Calcium with D3 the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, then I use the Rep-Cal herptivite vitamin supplement the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.
Follow this schedule, get these supplements and you’ll be...
I did do the grate at the bottom, I used the plastic sheet that comes with the reptibreeze, I cut a 19x19 square into it with a dremal tool so I could superglue the egggrate (got that at Lowe’s in the ceiling tile section) and then I added the screen mesh on top so the feeders couldn’t get out...
Haha oh hell did you really?! That’s awesome, didn’t take you long to go out and get what you needed to make it happen lol glad to see I could help, this thing looks great! Spread the word let everyone know, it’s a pretty sweet use of space (y)
That setup looks exactly how I want to do mine! That looks awesome! I like the use of the lattice haha I had the same idea, go check mine out on my page under the “enclosure ideas that may help you”
Great job, looks great
No problem, can you post pics of your enclosure and the Cham to see? Btw I don’t believe it can be burned by the UVB. KP, (Kenny Powers) likes to sit directly under his UVB too. The screen directly under only gets to about 91 degrees, I don’t believe that’s hot enough to burn him. I figure if it...
So the enclosures coming along nicely.
I installed and mounted my automated misting lines by using the one hole the enclosure had when it arrived. Then I weaved it through the lattice as to hide it from site. All I have to do is cut the 1/4 hose I purchased from Lowe’s to length and mount in...
You need to start feeding all at one time, and when you say calcium powder what do you mean? Feeders should be sprinkled with calcium without D3 at almost every feeding, calcium with D3 two times a month and a vitamin supplement two times a month. I would ditch the meal worms(not a good food...
