The only two feeders you've mentioned at this point are Mealworms, which are a huge no-no for chameleons, because they're harder to digest, and if used as a staple can compound in their stomachs and cause health issues / death... these are a once in a blue moon treat only, if that.
and...
Is there an age range for this? mine's doing the same thing, though he doesn't try to bite, but he will bat at my hand with his tongue occasionally.. lolol
But Anole is on point, I personally have a medium sized (like foot and a half long) branch wrapped in some vine that I can bamboozle...
Snagged some pictures of my Chicken this morning!
I love his early morning "mom I'm trying to eat, go awwaayyy" personality.
He's starting to grow into his greens with every shed, Can't wait to get his new coop together and see how much more he flourishes !
Hmmm, a lot to consider ... I still have a week or so before my cage is all set up and I can start putting in the plants, mister, etc...
Do you guys have pictures of how your lighting is set up ? Right now in my smaller cage a double dome has been working fine, I'm gonna check the enclosure...
Yeah, I'm wondering since it has the plug inside for internal things like heat rocks etc that I wont be using if I could dremel in some extra vent holes and use the plug for a mini-fan?
I really wanna find a way to make this work because this is the only "all in one" hood I've found like this...

There isn't tooo much in the description, it looks like it's not on the ZooMed website anymore... what little info I've...
I've been looking for lighting for the 24*24*48 cage setup I'm working on, and stumbled upon this one... Anyone have any experience with it, or know what a good linear bulb would be?
It looks like it takes a T8, I've seen a lot of threads talking about T5 but, I'm not entire sure what the...
Yeah, I usually get my bulbs and supplies when I go to the expo they have every few months instead of getting them from petco/smart/whatever else is out there for pet stores, but that's not for another month.
I've been looking into the linear-type bulbs & housings for the new set up since it's...
Yeah, this is the one that's left in there right now (not that high of wattage though)... it covers all the bases, it's just not nearly as bright...
I'm not sure what the temp difference is now without the second light, I had to leave for work before it got up to temp, so I'll have to check it...
Hey guys,
So, medium story short, it hasn't even been a full three months yet, and I've had one of my lights blow out on me twice... I'm not sure if it's from misting, or something else but, it went out on me this morning when the timer turned on; I was already in there getting some crickets...
From the last thread he posted back in march I'm assuming he found out Phil was a girl *after* they named her.... no pictures of the back legs, though, so
Haven’t been able to get any good pictures lately because he’s been moody, but oh man  Das my chicken ! I love it when he gets that dark teal color, so pretty !
NoNoNoNoNO mealworms! On top of not being worth much of anything nutritionally, they can compact in your Cham's tummy, and 'cause them health issues / could kill them if bad enough !
If you want to try hand feeding I would recommend you try super worms / butter worms / wax worms, just don't do...
Calcium with D3 should be given once every 3/4 weeks and a multivitamin once every 3/4 also but not at the same time as the D3. I got my calcium without D3 off the Josh’s frogs website because they don’t sell it in any stores near me.
Does anyone have any experience with their customer service and replacement policies ??
I ordered their large cage end of last week, and it came in today damaged, missing half the hardware... I sent them an email with pictures, and I’m not expecting an email back until probably Monday but this...
Not for my Cham, but for my Red eyed Skink terrarium-
I usually get my food supplies from Josh's Frogs but they're ALWAYS out of isopods, or when I get the in stock reminder they're gone again by the time I get on the site..
Is there anywhere else that's good for them?
Thanks!!!
Yeah, I think I paid 90 for my medium repti-breeze, because the price on the bigger one was astronomical at the time. Makes me wish I did a little bit more research on the housing sizes before I started buying things, but hey, you live and you learn. I ordered the large cage from DIYcages...
