Haha thanks CJ! I appreciate that. Hopefully it ends up looking the way I have it imagined. I’ll have to say, I got my inspiration and ideas from @Monta Cham enclosure
@CamrynTheCham22 I purchased the lattice at Home Depot, used a dremal tool to cut it in half and also trimmed some of the ends so it would fit snug, 48” tall it fits pretty snug It’d be a bit of work to make that lol
There’s no need to leave the dripper on at night, Chams sleep and pretty heavily I may add lol
no water food light or heat sources are necessary for a sleeping Cham at night. Just as long as you fill it everyday you’re fine.
Good luck
So as most of you know, KP my 5 month old vieled, just got his new 24x24x48 enclosure in last Friday. Ever since I got it, i’ve Been plotting and designing the inside of his enclosure. I wanted something that would be easy to work with, cause as little damage as possible to the actual cage...
I plan on having a pothos with vines that will cover most of the top, and a schferella in there for the middle and lower coverage along with some horizontal free hanging vines and cover the sides with maybe some type of rope bridge. I’ll also have some ghost wood in there eventually and vines...
So KP finally got his new big boy kingdom in today and let me tell you I had no idea this enclosure would be this big, and I can’t wait until my girlfriend comes home and sees the new addition in our bedroom, she’s gonna loveeeee it hahaha :ROFLMAO:
it’s safe to say he’ll have PLENTY of space...
No wonder Waldo is the way he is, look at the personal jungle castle he lives in. That looks amazing, very well done! That must have taken a good bit of time to do that and I bet it’s a task and a half trying to clean that thing but wow it’s amazing. You did an awesome job! I’m going to be...
That’s the greenest calmest Cham i’ve Ever seen, he must love whatever you’re doing cause he seems extremely at home and relaxed. Beautiful Cham! Could you post a pic of your enclosure set up? It looks great from the snippets that I can see.
He was ready to throw some hands at me if I were to get too close for sure lol
But that’s what I was thinking too. I mean i’ve Read these little creatures can go up to 4 days without any discomfort so why not give it a try?
And I appreciate the input, I didn’t know that. I usually clean my...
He’a about 4-5months old ish by now I believe.
The Dubai roaches I try to give him are about 1/4”-1/2” I try giving him the smaller ones. Some a little over a 1/2” though. But like I said he doesn’t eat them no matter the size.
Horn worm is about an 3/4”-1 1/4” but size with those...
He has that one fake vine up at the top for a little more coverage for the time being until the pothos vines get long enough to replace the fake vine. I figured it wouldn’t hurt for the time being. But no ma’am I don’t believe that’s the case considering i’ve Only had the fake vine in his...
Do you believe my gutload is adequate?
I would do that, however he’s only ever eaten in front of me maybe 8 or 9 times the entire time he’s been in my care. He doesn’t run away from me when I put my hand inside of his enclosure, he does however run for the hills anytime my hand gets anywhere...
It is. I actually saw it again the other day cause he shot it out at my finger a couple times while I was moving him out of his enclosure to clean, it’s comforted that his tongue is indeed green. I hate to say it but it looks like a huge lougie attached to a blue string. But he seems to be a...
