    My Panther seems too tame...

Yes I have been looking and that’s what I think, too. I just think he is awesome and I am lucky to have him. I think he had been fed crickets from the pet store about once a week before I got him. The guy spent $600 on him with the cage (I saw the receipt) so it makes no sense that he would not...

    My Panther seems too tame...

Ambilobe. I didn’t know what RBBB meant. I had to google it but I’m not really sure. I wasn’t the original owner. I bought him from someone when he was 10 months old. He was malnourished and weighed only 30 grams. Here he is with normal color. It’s hard to get a good picture of him because he...

    My Panther seems too tame...

I have almost the exact same chameleon from the same source and he has always done the same thing. He is 2 now. This is despite enlarging his enclosure and providing many more branches and plants. He wants out, always, and sometimes he is too fast for me when I don’t really have time to hold...

    Civility and good will

New member here. I did plenty of research for one year before buying a chameleon, and still found it inadequate , despite multiple I think reputable websites (much ado about chameleons was one) and recommended books. I admit to perusing articles here for years prior to posting anything, because...

    Multivitamin question

I have read about that, too. I also saw a Repashy vitamin A powder. I didn't know that existed. I don't know if that has the same bioavailability as the liquid.

    Multivitamin question

OK. I ordered it, but I'm scared to use it. It also has enough vitamin A for Panthers, correct? I overdosed my cham on D3 so I am second-guessing everything I am doing right now. Sorry

    Multivitamin question

Is Repashy Calcium Plus considered a multivitamin? It also has D3 in it, so if I supplement the Repashy Calcium plus once a month and then the calcium with D3 once a month will I be giving enough preformed A and not too much vitamin D3? And I do not need a separate vitamin A powder if I use the...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

He only had discharge from the right eye on one day, incidentally last Thursday when I took him to the 3rd vet. The same eye became swollen that day but only the lower lid and it is slightly better now. I did get a picture when he opened his eye on his own that day. You could see his 3rd eyelid...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

If I get him to open his mouth then I can pop a worm in there and he eats like normal. So I have been feeding him 2 hornworms a day. Thank you for trying to help.

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

I have never dumped any of my pets on someone else and I would not like to start now. I am willing and capable of following directions if someone could give them to me. I’m very frustrated right now. I know it’s not anyone’s responsibility on here to diagnose and I do appreciate everyone’s...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

We are 10 hours from Houston. We are driving to Rockport on Saturday then going to Galveston on Tuesday. I could take him then. But he would have to go on vacation with us. That will be a last resort. Flying there and back in a day I guess could be done with a cab from the airport, but that is...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

Not sure if anybody is still reading this, but he is the same. I gave him 4 ml of water with a syringe and 2 worms again. He sleeps constantly still. I gave him the Baytril twice but when he stopped drinking on his own I haven’t given him more. There are multiple vets in Albuquerque who are...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

I am thinking about giving him some water. I have not seen him drink today. I have a long little tube I can use. But I don’t know what volume to give? I don’t want to give too much. 1-2 ml? He might be drinking but I have not seen it. I could turn off the auto mister and just hand mist I guess...

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

He made a big poo with pretty dark urate. Now I am not seeing him drink as much but the vet gave him all of that subcutaneous fluid yesterday.

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

New Mexico and OK are closer to me than Houston. I just called Santa Fe vet on the arav website. She is full but they recommended someone in Albuquerque. I will check that directory, too. I have asked about Lubbock but no one seems to down there. That’s about 2 hours.

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

I have done terramycin ointment for 2 weeks before and he was prescribed Baytril orally and only given one dose so far. Yesterday

2 Vets can’t help me and My Cham won’t eat or open eyes

Ok I see that they do have a 3rd eyelid. That looks bizarre. I swear it looks like a pointing abscess in his lower lid. Like a stye.
