Screen going up (petscreen)
Once the screen is finished I'll be putting wood trim to cover the staples and ensure a good seal.
Then it's on to the fun of attaching branches, plant pots, etc
These two feeders have gotten my cham to eat consistently the past few days and I am overjoyed about it.
I cant wait for my reds to breed a lot and I wish I was better equipped to breed silks, but i think I'm going to try with the remaining ones I'll have left once they get big enough.
If...
Thanks man! Definitely been a pretty slow and hard working process so far.
Yeah I've driven it a couple times. Wouldnt mind owning one myself lol but those weights and rack havent been used extensively in years ha. Probably since back in my high school football days.
I appreciate the good...
Thank you!! You and me both lol. I'm hoping to put the screen on tomorrow if I have time.
It's an Infiniti g37s convertible. As much as I'd like to claim it as my own, it's my mom's car. My parents have been nice enough to let their son in his late 20s come over and slowly work on a large...
@jamest0o0 is the roach guy for sure.
I'm pretty sure all roaches will need a heat source to breed well (mid 80s I believe is sufficient).
Dubias can play dead kinda and aren't very appealing to many chams if they are in a feeder where they can do that. (e.g. the chameleon shooting gallery -...
I have been putting the food on the substrate - I guess sometimes it could lean on one of them if it's a bigger slice of squash/zucchini or something. But the one with holes wasnt very close to the place where i usually put food.
Thanks for the replies! I'm glad it doesn't seem like a thing to...
The egg flats I have with my Dubias look like they've been eating it a little bit.
I have been pretty good about keeping food with them, but they still have eaten it.
I am a little worried about feeding these to my cham now. Would they be harmful at all?
Yeah that was the schedule I had at first. Pretty sure I over dusted the multivitamin at first to start this whole issue. I'll try cutting back the repashy LoD to once every other week.
It's just odd that while he's up and about it looks pretty normal. I only notice it when he sleeps now. I...
I am in the process of upgrading my panther's enclosure now to a 36x24x36 from a 18x18x36 (doing a DIY so it is going somewhat slow since I work 9-5 at an essential business). He is probably 7 months old, but has been exploring all over his cage for a couple weeks now at least. I feel super bad...
If I lessened to twice a month, would I need another multivitamin?
I've been thinking about making the switch to earth pro A, although its sold out in a lot of places and like $30 shipping in the once place I could find
Edema was seemingly resolved, but I have noticed it when he sleeps still and looked especially bad tonight:
But, this was him about an hour prior to that:
And a couple days ago:
Has anyone else noticed something similar to this with their cham?
It's been over a month, and I have began...
It's a 6%. I've never changed the basking bulb spot, and before I upgraded to a T5HO, he would bask on his top perch a lot.
Since changing to a T5, I did not see him bask on his top perch any longer.
After raising the T5 (technically it's about 1.5" or so since a 2x4 isnt actually 2") he has...
Trying to get around UVI 3 at his top basking branch and when I had it on the screen top, I did not notice him on his basking branch much at all. Since I've moved it up 2", each morning ive seen him basking now. So, I think the UV levels were a bit too much for him with it on the screen
I have a 24" T5HO dual fixture that I'd like to raise about 2" above the DIY 36x24x36 cage I am building. I'll eventually probably get a 36" fixture but I cant spend that $$ at the moment
Does anyone have any suggestions other than hanging the fixture? I'd really like to avoid that
Right now I...
