    Mine stays brown when he is hunting. Maybe yours does too. I dont think its an issue but a husbandry check is always good. Also he may outgrow it as he gets bigger and more confident.

    Sansi I had the exact same one. When you get it I want you to plug it in the bathroom and leave it for 30 minutes then go in and put your hand near the light so you can feel how hot it is. It will give you an idea of how far up it needs to be above the cage. Great job on the new digs!
