Try digging a hole in the bin for her and putting a vine down into it for her. They like to lay around roots as well, so having a plant or a few sticks in the bin in a cluster can help as well.
I recently saw my girl with her biggest clutch yet and she was too fat to dig more than and inch...
I had a clutch of 26 eggs and about 7 months in, one collapsed. I opened it up to find a little guy what looked exactly like that. Took another 2 months for the rest to hatch. I'm in southern Ontario and the temps ranged from 69-75 for the duration.

Any updates on the little guy??
Not questioning your methods MissLisa, but all of my chams drink from standing water glasses as well as droplets. It can be done!
I just went back and looked at all of Coopers photos after seeing this thread. Nothing I can say that hasn't been said already. Nothing I can say that would even begin to describe how gorgeous he is, anyways! Thanks for sharing, please keep the updates coming.
PS. I should also thank you for...
I tend to agree with JoeVet. If it's hard to find a proper cage in your area, imagine how difficult it might be to find care? And even if you do, you'll pay exponentially more than he will ever be worth (monetarily speaking) and possibly get improper care from an inexperienced vet. It's time to...
Just keep him comfortable until Monday. Make sure he can't fall, and remove the substrate. Make sure he drinks and eats and gets calcium for now. And get him some proper vines to hang on to! That way he can hold them and feel secure. Seeing a chameleon laying on a rock like that is just unnatural.
Petsmart, that explains it. I don't think its just the picture but post more just to be sure. It looks to be pretty bad. Was it like that when you got him?
As for substrate, just use paper towels. Think bird. They shouldn't be at the bottom digging unless they want out or are female and...
I would suggest taking him back if possible. If not possible, you will have to take him to a vet asap either for treatment or for a humane way to end his suffering. If he does recover, and I hope that he will, I and everybody here would surely implore you to research, research and research some...
