My female veiled seems not to like them either but if I start with 2 pheonix worms and then offer the dubia she'll usually take atleast one but other than that one a day is the most I can get sometimes less than that.
Ok I have searched and searched and have deduced that with ample natural sunlight d3 suppliments are not needed? Would just like some conformation from more seasoned owners. Any help is much appreciated. I know calcium is a must but I have always liked things as natural as possible and powders...
Hello all! I have a free range setup where my cham can get natural sun through screen storm windows. When inside when she gets to hot she will move in the shade but while we are outside she will keep basking to the point where she starts holding her mouth open and will not move to a shadier...
Mistking, who's that. ...O yea that's me.... ok guys my wife and I have been hand watering my female veiled for about 4 months now.... is the most monotonous task we endure, don't get me wrong totally worth it. I love every minute but I think it's time to bite the bullet and get a misting sytem...
Should be ok at around 40-50ish with 2 or so spikes per day. I use a vicks warm humidifier(w/out vicks obviously) one or twice a day for 15-30 minutes depending on my local humidity and I hand spray 3-5 times throughout the day also depending on humidity and temp, I free range in my sun room...
He is an awesome looking little guy! My female veiled will hand feed like a hog, but she still is apprehensive when she is on me and I try and feed. What is the lil' fellows name?

Good luck with fruits and vegetablesI can't get my veiled to take them. She had had watermelon one time, I kinda put it in her mouth while she was chewing a pheonix worm. After she started chewing it she seemed to like it a lot but if it doesn't move she won't take a it. She will however take...
Just keep it up, he will start to trust you more. My veiled usually always comes to me now and has for some time, she is just now coming around to my wife. Blanche never hisses or bites, I've had her for 4 months and only heard her hiss once.
Definitely get some hornworms. Yea for awhile blanche wouldn't eat anything but supers, she eventually got tired of them but in the meantime she fattened up. I hear mixed things about supers, I do make sure to dust them good and hand feed them as the calcium falls off them more so than any...
Superworms in my humble opinion are a better option than mealworms, have you tried those, my Blanche rarely takes crickets, she just seems uninterested. Now pheonix worms have ended any food strike she had ever been on. Have you tried dubias? I don't have luck with them but I see a lot of folks...
