I named Van ‘Van’ because he made me lowkey think of Van from Reba. He’s very Jock-esque and thinks he’s cool and smitten but he does funny stuff a lot.
This is Van:
If he was a human, he’d be on the Varsity football team and he’d wear nothing but jerseys and champion sweatshirts. He’s very dramatic and likes to lay out on his branches in very photogenic poses; his favorite is hold on with one hand and let the other hang down, that’s the...
So I have one in my Veiled chameleon’s cage and it was just for more cover for him also there’s notches where the fronds meet the plant that are great to prop up sticks on. And here’s a picture of him trying to crawl JUST on the palm 😂😂😂 such a crazy dude
He’s legit just holding onto the blades...
I think it’d be so cool to do a rock background but like white rock and make it look like a Mediterranean island and have a Mediterranean Chameleon in there
I don’t even really mist just make sure he’s got water dripping all the time, and when I fill it up I’ll pour it through the top of the screen and it’ll splash onto the plants a bit :/ but even then it’s just like once a day
Edit: Oh you have a Mistking lol
Yeah he doesn’t eat many plants at all but man he loves lonicera. I’m trying to feed him more crickets to keep him from having room for leaves lol. I’d really like to put one in his cage though.
Hmm, I looked for more on Amazon and once it’s referred to as a Hoya. If it is a Hoya, are they safe...
I found a gorgeous plant at the store it’s called a ‘Cebu Blue Pothos’ here is a picture I found online:
It says it’s a Pothos… has anyone put this in a chameleon cage? Or know if this plant is a true pothos? I’d love to add it to my enclosure.
I have a veiled who loves eating leaves so I’d...
Back at this. I just get so anxious when I get a new plant, I don’t want him to get hurt. I got a shefflera:I put sand and stones in the pot and I just really rinsed the plant. There’s too many leaves to actually wash them so I just rinsed them with cold water and now they’re sitting and almost...
Dang she’s got one that works in the sink!? I’ve gotta plug mine into a water hose outside lololol in summer I’ll get around ten gallons an hour but in winter it comes out in drops :0
I don’t use it for my cham though, just reef tanks and carnivorous plants.
I know this is an older post and I think you have every right to raise up your Cham the way you want. But, I just wanted to show you these cool outside cages you can make for some extra piece of mind, they’re cheap and they can keep a Cham safe :)
You can use the plant watering trays or pots...
