Ok so I just wanted to post this cause I was excited and wanted to share.
So a long while ago I saw this post on how to grow a vegetable but I was like that’s a lot of work 😧. I recently remembered and was searching and I came across this cool post (I can’t find it anymore though 😞) anyways I...
Expand the thing. I do recommend you add more foliage! Yes he needs a vet that’s experienced in chameleons, your vet probably doesn’t know much on his care so I don’t recommend it. Check ups run around $60+ and fecals $40+ (Based on vets I called when I was searching) Depending on what the...
Well I don’t own one but I’ve read a couple threads on it before. Like you mentioned you can get an automatic timer and plug it in and set it up. Keep the monsoon on “on” and see if it works appropriately but you said you’re having problems with that...What type of timer are you using? It’s...
Yeah but sadly it happens A LOT. A lot of them don’t care for them and say they’re happy when they clearly aren’t. It’s really sad and I hope we can try and change that, maybe one day they’ll all be cared for right that’s a big hope and dream I have. For all animals
Just some small changes but you’ve been doing pretty good! 😊 I do recommend you take him to an experienced chameleon vet for the eye. Like I had mentioned it won’t hurt to take him! Neptune the Chameleon on YouTube has some great videos!

My first question would be if you have experience or have done enough research and know how to care for the eggs/have all the equipment? I’m just wondering! 😊 I cannot help you with the eggs though I’m sorry!
Your “basking light” is a ceramic heater. You need something like an incandescent household bulb so definitely change it out. Wattages vary but I recommend you start with a 75 watt and if it doesn’t get the correct temps then go from there, you kind of have to play around with the wattages. You...
Yes I’m not home right now so I’ll show you when I get home! You can PM if you want to know how I made it and the materials I used. (Click my profile and press start conversation to PM me)
I put the link to the DIY one that you can buy.

You can make it out of wood, there’s lots of ways, I made mine out of wood and window screens with aluminum mesh. You can...
To us the water may seem like it’s ok but to the cham it may feel extremely hot. Also heating water in a reservoir can collect bacteria and you don’t want that. Think about is as far as nature goes, the water is not warmed up for them when it rains and such.
Ok this is why you want the ledges so you can attach branches and plants. I used the wire and just drilled a whole in the branch and attached it to the cages through the mesh (before I made my ledges). Since the plant would be to heavy hanging on the mesh I didn’t put any there. Will you be...
Take it out it’s a breeding ground for bacteria. You can just have a bare bottom nothing on it besides the pots for the plants. Yes you should invest in an automatic timer I use this one (attached). The one already already showed is good as well. You can find it on Amazon as well as a Hardware...
Forgot to mention this but how big are his feeders? Rule of thumb is they should be no bigger that the width between their eyes, hornworms are an exception as they are soft bodied and squishy but should still be sized appropriately. Read through this if you haven’t already, chameleon academy has...
Some of them don’t care and just put a lot. Some pretend to count but I know they don’t, some put too little and some put too much depends on the employees. I don’t shop with them anymore though but they’re crickets are nasty and not well taken care of 🤢 banded crickets are definitely a better...
You can add a cool mist humidifier and have it go on at night for a few hours. You could also try adding shower curtains to the sides of the enclosure. You should definitely add a pothos! Take out any fake plants as they are an impaction risk. Since the multivitamins have d3 you’ll give him that...
Well there’s the DIY one (linked) and the dragon strand that is pricier but definitely worth it. (There are other options I just usually recommend these) You could buy the DIY one buy and add dragon strand ledges to it as well! I think the kale has something in it that’s not good but I’m not...

Ok so I’m really big on DIYs I love building and making things so I could definitely help you with that. I do recommend you get him a bigger cage now as he will grow rapidly. A 4x2x4 but bigger is always better (minimum is 2x2x4). You could definitely build it but it’s not always cheaper. I...
