I know this is probobly a lot of work you put in and I don't want to minimize that, but I'm old fashioned, and was wondering if there's a way to use old format, or something similar? On some sites there's a cellphone or desktop option, but don't see it here. If not I guess I'll have to get used...
So I've got roughly 5-700 silkworms goin for an egg run and I'm wondering if anyone want to see it. I don't know how to post pics and am too busy and impatient to learn right now so if someone wants to give me thier email so I can send pics to post here let me know, I can maybe send you some...
I've never seen a more amazing side of the reptile industry than the people who both breed and keep chameleons. There's no greed, douchebagerry, and you guys help each other in ways that only a few close friends might in other species groups. I'm more into ball pythons, and the entire industry...
This isn't stuck shed. I'd won't say 100% but 99%. black hornworms are somewhat common, go to GLH facebook halloween last year. There's also a white strain, I got one but it died just before pupating so I couldn't breed it.
Or send in a fall guy with a few kilos of coke so that they're busy busting him you can get your silkworms on the plane safely. Costly but I bet it works. The water bottle and toothpaste was awesome, funniest thing I've heard all week lol
If they came with a cold pack they can be refridgerated, otherwise they need to be hatched. Humidity is more important than temp, I've hatched at 72 degrees with almost perfect hatch rate but have lost a whole batch because of humidity issues.
Nit completely true, they eat dandelion which is one of the best gutloads you can use, and also using actual mulberry leaves instead of chow will help boost protein and other nutrients. Even frozen leaves are good compared to chow.
Depends on size. I'd use dandelions, carrot can have way more water than other foods which is usually what cause problems if they do happen, but peoe on this forum have raised them on carrots for 50% of thier life and they did fine. If they seem to be having problems, let the carrots dry for a...
There is a black strain that GLH has but I don't beleive they sell them but it could be spontaneous, could be sick, mightve eaten something dark if possible, could be sick. If he is a black version, he should turn come tell black, but with regular chow I dont know if this is possible, but...
I think silkworms are the cheapest and best if you have or can buy a tree. Ten silkworms will be enohgh to start a lifetime supply. I've got about 500 silkworms ready to cocoon and lay eggs andall I paid was $12 for the 50 silkworms I bred to get the babies I'm raising now from.
WI has some wierd laws but you aren't going to get into trouble for it unless you walked into the DNR office holding the bean beetles and turned yourself in with a written confession.
Are you talking real hummingbird moths or using it as a generic term for tobacco worm moths? I'd also be interested in buying if they're true hummingbird moths
I'dve voted for the Jackson's if there wasn't a house in the background it. would've been all the more impressive! Don't know why but unnatural backgrounds are a turnoff for me. Just my opinion but all the pics are awesome.
The trick is getting the vegatables to a proper moisture level. I tried with carrots once, and after a few days they were all soggy, seemingly dead, and if you didn't know any better, you've though they were dehydrated because of how limp they were. I put them in a container with paper towel and...
I almost Wanna say you should use pinkie loaded praying mantises. It's kinda hard to feed live baby mice because you can hear them squeaking in the stomach of the animal that ate it. This would give you the option of using frozen thawed. Even better, give him a praying mantis thats...
