    Oh crap!

Yes, I totally agree, we were kind of hoping something would work but not so much!! We have for the most part given up until we put a new roof on next year and replace all of the eaves, and evacuate the whole attic. I never go out now without my hair down and with a hat on, I learned the hard...

    Oh crap!

Haha, I choose Bullwinkle(y) I know it sounds so harsh but they are so DESTRUCTIVE, way more than mice. They have destroyed our attic, the insulation in our walls, and have put holes in our roof eaves. We tried calling a few different environmental groups and they just said "sorry we can not...

Yessss! Norman let me hold him today!

My veiled just uses me as an extension of his cage, he walks out on to my hand and up my arm, up my hair to my head! When I first started holding him I just sat with my arms out in a circle shape in front of his enclosure. He then would climb from one side to another and could go back in to his...

    New Chameleon Owner - Help!

That is great you got a new gauge, it bugs me that they still sell those round gauges, they are so inaccurate:mad:

    New Chameleon Owner - Help!

Just another quick note, the temps gauges you have in there are very inaccurate. I am not actually sure why they even make them, anyway I would get either a temp gun or I personally like the probe type to accurately check your temps!

    Oh crap!

Living in the woods is always an adventure, our plaque consists of flying squirrels! My husband last year shot 48 of them, and they are still here, beady eyed boogers! We live in an old house also, I think mice are part of the package! We have lived here for15 years and we still have that one...

    New Chameleon Owner - Help!

Welcome to the wonderful world of chameleons, this is a great place for knowledge!! A few things I would suggest- ~ I would remove the eco carpet, it is going to get gross really quick. I use just bare bottom. ~ Change the light from blue to white, it is brighter and will help give you more...

Hyperian the panther chameleon -Male or Female?

Hi @Hyperian welcome to the great world of chameleons, this site is awesome and has a wealth of knowledge:) I just have a couple of quick suggestions, I would only feed wax worms as an occasional treat, also mealworms are not the greatest feeder either, crickets and locusts are good. Some other...

    Sleeping time in winter

My lights are on from 8 am to 8 pm and I find my panther tends to start to “settle in” to his favorite sleeping spot right around 6:30-7 now that it is getting colder and darker earlier!

orange head roaches smell - are they really worth the extra nutrition?

Just my two cents, I have had orange heads and red runners, I don’t keep either anymore. I have asthma and they both affect my lungs. I also can not stand the smell, it stunk up the whole room. I do keep dubia but have to wear a mask changing the bin. In order to give my chams different foods I...
