I e had mine for five months and he still does not want me touching him. I got him when he was already 6-7 months. Buy I would recommend taking it slow as well. Especially if he's young you don't want to scare or stress him early on. Stress can kill them.

You should dust with calcium every feeding. Dust with calcium with d3 and a multi vit with out d3 twice a month.

Do you have supplements for him? Did the pervious owner supplement? You should read the care sheet on this forum if you haven't yet.
