    bedtime

My cham sleeps quiet a bit during the day. He seems very healthy. Eating, drinking, pooping, shedding. He roams a lot never stays at the bottom of his cage but he does tend to nap during the day. I have read they shouldn't sleep during the day but he seems just fine to me. I do however have to wake...

Thanks for the replies. So then with a well planted cage ( fake plants) would you still suggest the strongest tube bulb?

Unfortunately I can't put the sun on top of his cage. Besides I was hoping for something a little smaller.

Such thing as to much UVB?

All I've read is how great UVB is for our chams. So is there such a thing as to much? If not then why doesn't everyone use the highest UVB light possible. And what is the highest UVB light out there.

Will I ever hold my little guy?

Try letting him free range. Set a plant in front of his cage with a pathway. Let him come out on his own. My guy doesn't like to be touched but the more he's out of his cage the more relaxed he seems. I certainly hope there is no time table for getting our chams to tolerate a little handeling. I...

    My Chams hate me lol

My guys about 10 months old and is as grumpy as they come. Sometimes he'll tolerate me in his cage other times it's a stand off. I still let him out every day. I just put a plant in front of his cage and run a ladder to it. He loves to come out but its not always so easy getting him back in. I...

However if I put a worm on top of my fist he will come right up and take it like we're best friends. Anyway my point is don't be scared to try and hand feed just rest a non wiggly feeder on...

    eggbound dying

No I think he was just telling his story. I don't believ he was suggesting that u cut her open. Especially if the eggs aren't fertile. I'm sure he was just telling his story.

    eggbound dying

I read this whole post I don't see anywhere that it says you don't care. I'm very sorry for your loss but please don't take things to personally or read tone in posts. Idk if I could have cut open my Cham but I do applaud you for saving those babies.

Yea after posting I thought the same thing. That would be one big a.. Cham. Next time I'll try to letting my mind catch up with my fingers. I guess a better question would have been at what age are they full grown.

    Hand feeding

I have been giving him plenty of space. I don't think he's completely terrified of me he just doesn't want me touching him. Wich is fine with me. He still comes out and free ranges and I get a little interaction with him.

    Let's Keep It Real

I think that is great reasoning. I'm not pro fake or live. I do like your thought. This is my first reptile so I have no experience in keeping a live terrarium. I have tossed the idea back and forth but came to the conclusion that I really like the fact I can break down the whole cage every week...
