Made a stop to our local petsmart store to buy the kids some supers and found out they were re-locating and having a 70% off sale on everything except food and live animals! Most of the store was nearly empty, but we ran across some left overs! Got 2 UVB hoods and a light for less than $40...

They generally will eat on their own. If it moves, they'll eat it. I have a plastic tray in all my cages, although two of my chams can and will eat from my hand. The one that doesn't, tends to eat from his tray when I'm not looking.

Thanks! :D I actually bought their parents from a petstore :/ obviously before I knew about breeders and such. Thankfully they were healthy and gave me healthy babies! That's some serious stuff there! Ill do my best not to say anythn to your wife ;p

I would LOVE to build my own fixture, but I don't have the tools or the work space to do that. :( I wouldn't have the room to work on one anyway as I live in an apartment. :/ But it's good to know about the height consideration for them. :) Thank you.
