I highly disagree with her age, but that's just my thoughts. What does she weigh? And she will most likely out grow her shy/scared stage, all of my panthers were like that at a young age and sooner or later out grew it.

The veiled I used to have seemed to always have a bizarre way of removing shed skin, and I had seen him do the dog scratch a few times.

It's most likely the heat then, they turn darker in basking temps and when it's just too hot over all. Switch out your basking bulb with a regular light bulb around 45 watts, check the temps and then lower or raise the watts depending on the temp.

Ha yeah I got that male ambilobe as a breeder last week. There is some killer deals in the for sale section from panther from breeders on this site, sometimes they are as low as 150, and pretty much all locals. Also I've have babies for sale later this year from two different bloodlines.

Have you changed anything in his cage lately? Or maybe handling him more often? Can he see any other animals, dogs, cats, other chams? Other then that stuff just make sure his basking temp is no hotter then 85 until he gets older

I owned a veiled that had one eye exactly like that and I was told it had to of happened during shipping. After he shed twice it was basically all gone, hope they shed soon so you can see if that takes care of it!

For any baby Cham 90 is way to hot, it should be more like 80-83, poor guy is trying to escape the heat
