    open mouth under UV light

Well, eating sand isn't very good :P I don't really know, all seems normal. It doesn't seem like she's overheating, and without noise it's probably not a URI (don't rule it out.) I'm not really sure, I'll look around.

    Dark cricket = gut loaded?

Nope Actually, the color of the crickets show when they are going to shed. Lighter crickets have just shed their skin, while darker crickets are just about to. It has nothing to do with temperature, food, etc. Nothing to worry about!

Is my Panther a boy or a girl?!?!

I know that my C. Calyptratus baby had them, and I had heard that other species do too. I think it's probably too early to determine just by color, but I'm not really an expert on Furcifer Pardalis.

    R.i.p

Sorry for your loss :( I just lost mine yesterday, too. But, as already mentioned, you shouldn't use substrate. Only newspaper if necessary. I hope all goes well :)

    Disenfect?

Hi all, I worked up the strength to go clean out Nemo's cage one last time, and I was wondering how I should disenfect his vines/leaves? I'm planning on getting a new cham soon, and I don't want it to get sick. Thanks! ~Conner D.

    All-in-One Bulb?

I was looking around today, and I found a bulb on Screameleons website called the 'Powersun UV'. It says that it produces the UVB rays necessary for our chams, while also producing heat. I was wondering if this was as effective? ~Conner

    Nemo passed away

To everyone: The post from a few days ago was for my friends cham, who didn't have internet because of the massive east snowstorm. This was the same reason Nemo couldn't make it to a vet. Nemo was taken care of properly, and (though I'm waiting for the results) I'm guessing that he has been sick...
