I was hoping to see one, too :( I've never seen one in person. In your photos your parson's always look healthy as can be, that's what got me to buy the cricket crack. ;) Hopefully my panthers will be as photogenic.
That's pretty good, syn! Keep at it, I bet you'll get your color issues sorted out. When in doubt, go with light color pencils and add more and more slowly till it looks right.
Thanks Franie. He seemed stressed last time I put him on the shower ( I put him on the top of the shower wall, it's fairly wide, on a towel. He looked like he wanted to jump for it.
Maybe he'll like it better if I put a plant on the shower floor?
My lil JJ is having trouble shedding. It has been 4 days and he's still snowing all over his cage, with lots of white sticking to him. He was much faster last time.
I normally mist 2-3 times a day, and don't mist him directly. The past couple of days I have been misting more and misting...
I think this is good advice. I offer my chameleon food or water every time I approach the cage, and now I can tell if he is hungry or thirsty, he comes to the front, or watches me intensely to see what I have for him. It's very cute. He's about 7 months. This does not work at all with my 4...
Haha. I've been bitten as well. My hubby surprised me with my chameleon August 1. Within a month I had bought a second one. We are going to the reptile show in Sacramento tomorrow (month and a half after the first chameleon) and the only hing preventing me from picking up a cute little...
I do the "grounding" as you describe it as well. I should say, I used to. I haven't needed to do it in a very long time. It's a great technique because it's communicating to the dog in a way he understands. That's the key to training a dog. If he's not allowed on the couch, he is never...
You are lucky enough that you might be able to keep him outside. Maybe talk with others in your area and see how they manage it. I'm in northern CA so I can't do it :( Temps were over 100 this summer and they will get to freezing this winter.
I would try using a "leave it" command, because you can practice it with other tempting things, like high value treats.
Or maybe see if another foster home can trade you for a cat friendly dog. Some dogs will just never be safe around cats and need supervision 100% of the time.
