I read in one place that when a chameleon is brightly colored it is not stressed and in other places they say it meens they are stressed. Which is it?

But it is not standing it is constantly moving it. I just hate to take the waterfall out because since it has been in there my chameleon has been acting happier.

somewere between 3-6 months old his body is about 6" long Is there a treatmeat to put in the waterfalls water or could I let it dry out every few days to kill the bacteria?

This cage is sutible for my veiled chameleon or should I change it around? It is about two feet wide and deep and three feet tall (not including legs). I have a UV bulb that has 7% UVB. It has a waterfall in the corner. I think it could probaly use some more greenery.

He seems to be ok now I just walked in on him and the swelling is gone but he seems to be very grouchy right now.

What else should I add to his diet? I make sure to put the nutrient powder on his food as well as put it on the food of his food. I'm a little weary about catching insects to feed him because of parisites. What do you recomend. I read that when they are older they will eat some vegitation...

I was watching my chameleon and he seemed to slip on some loose bark on a vine I went out of my room for a minute and when I came back his eye looked swollen. Did he poke it or some and what should I do?

Mine is starting to get his yellow bands and he seems to like the superworms bettter than the crickets and he hasn't showed any problems.

What age do chameleons start to get the ability to change color? Thats how old mine is.

The first one he ate he ate with no problem and he seemed to go after it quicker than he does the crickets.

Are super worms healthy to feed more than one to a baby veiled chameleon? He ate it real quick but I don't know how many I can feed him. Another question is do super worms bite?
