    Healthfulness?

looking at those pics, I can't see any swelling. But has she only 3 legs? Really don't want to sound harsh or cruel, but I'm not sure you should keep any more animals, and certainly don't start your own pet sitting service. If your parents aren't willing to get a sick animal to a vet, they...

    Healthfulness?

I think maybe the issue is you're not being very clear on what the actual 'issue' is? Does she look healthy, as pointed out but ignored, swollen toes. Not just ignored, but swiftly onto is she gravid? When pointed out you'd ignored the first bit, the toes, you then say 'let's get back to what I...

In the last pic, his front leg looks slightly rounded at the joint/elbow. If you're worried get him to a vet when you're able to. Kath.

My veiled chamelen keep hes head and body stick to the ground ! :-(

Can't really see the back of the back feet, like heel. I still say female. Not sure how to use the syringe you have. The liquid calcium I think can fe be given via a needle by a vet or injected into a feeder, into a cricket. Chams tend not to eat dead stuff, do you have access to live foods...

    Help please

She looks gravid and needs a place to lay her eggs. They can lay even without a male, eggs will be infertile. Do you have a laying bin in her enclosure? Was reason she was at bottom was looking for somewhere. She should be having plain calcium, phosphorous free, at every feeding. Calcium with...

My veiled chamelen keep hes head and body stick to the ground ! :-(

Your Cham will probably never use the hide. The way to tell if female or male is to check it's back feet. If it has little spurs on it's back feet, back of them, it's a male. No spurs, female. If female she probably won't deposit eggs in the substrate, as it won't be deep enough. A laying bin...

    New chameleon owner advice?

Leave him be for a while. He needs to adjust and settle into his new home. Feed, mist etc but don't try to handle him for a couple of weeks. Then you can try the hand feeding so your hands aren't scary. He may never come round or hand feed, time and patience. Read the care sheets, lots of good...

I'm afraid my veiled chameleon is sick

She looks very plump and more than likely carrying eggs. The laying bin should stay in all the time. Has she ventured to bottom of cage at all? How long has she been plump and dragging her tummy? Do you have a good vet you San go to if need be? If you search the forums for laying bins, posts...
