    I'd also get rid of the moss at the bottom. Veileds are known for eating stuff,and any Cham could ingest it accidentally when shooting for bugs. Could cause an impaction. Real plants will help with humidity. Kath.

    Just plain old organic potting compost, no fertilisers. Then cover the soil with large rocks so your Cham can't eat it. Kath.

    I think you'll need more leaves/plants so he can hide a little and make him feel more secure. You'll need to get rid of the substrate, he may eat some, on purpose or accidentally. Which could cause an impaction or choking hazard. Eventually you'll also need a bigger enclosure, taller than...
