    L. williamsi FAIL...

Actually I've been hatching and raising these guys for a year now and have successfully hatched some in the parents tank and raised them in a seperate tank. I was just trying a new method to make things easier. This is what I do when they are stuck to the tank: After hatching...

    L. williamsi FAIL...

I velcro'd some bamboo tubes in my L. williamsi tanks hoping that they would lay their eggs inside and I would be able to remove them (they are gluers). Wasn't quite what I hoped for, though I did get a few to lay in them.

Kansas City Reptile Show, anyone attend??

The weird thing about the pricing is that their dartfrogs and other reptiles are average, it's just the panthers that aren't even ballpark.

    Some Fun With Outdoor Caging

Hi Jim, Great setups! Love the ideas that you put into them. What would be the minimum number of females that you could use to keep a male satisfied and be concidered a harem?

    Question about female Panthers

I find that If I raise 2 females in the same enclosure they typically get along. It also depends on their personality. I have put 2 together and they were perfectly fine, and sometimes I have one aggressive female that won't tolerate any chameleon or my hand in her cage. The aggressive ones...

Kansas City Reptile Show, anyone attend??

Just curious if anyone went to the Kansas City Reptile show on July 18th. Is this normal pricing for panther chameleons in KC? I thought about doing a show up there since that is where my family lives. I attached a link to a vendor who was at that show, you have to scroll down for the...

Thanks guys! I'll watch for you at the show Jann. The dame's name is Lola, io forgot to put that in the post. Now I just need to come up with a name for the little guy. I can't wait to see what his colors turn out to be once he fully matures.

    Could it be another "Annubis"?

I held back a couple of my ambilobe offspring whose dame was sired by Annubis JR of The Chameleon Company. The sire of these offspring is my male "Steve" in the first pic. Yesterday one of the juveniles (5 month old) started showing some amazing colors and looks like he might be taking on some...

    Open Mouth??? Why?

When you say that you are keeping her in a terrarium, will you explain a little more about her setup? Glass or screen? Does it have a basking site that she can get away from if needed? Another thing is that if she is pacing the cage, she might be looking for a site to lay some eggs. If so...

How Do I tell if I have a Male or Female Panther

Where are you located? The best thing to do right now is get a few good photos of the chameleon and post them. It is difficult for someone to explain how to tell without something to compare to. What pet store did you purchase it at?
