    Mixing Red runners and crickets?

Runners will cannibalize their own if food is low. So I dont think crickets will stand much chance. Heh. Not fun indeed

    Mixing Red runners and crickets?

The runners will attack and eat the crickets most likely. They are very aggressive. And pretty much always hungry.

    Bee Pollen? The Right stuff?

The only true way to possibly tell since no science puts much care or research into in depth aspects of the health and well being of chameleons on molecular levels... would be a breeder to experiment with a clutch, or possibly multiple clutches. Divide a clutch in half and run one half on a...

    Bee Pollen? The Right stuff?

I get the debate here. Is the flower pollen possibly a better source. I think personally they are equivalent of one and other. I dont scare by the "oh its exposed to bacteria etc etc" this that blah blah. Only way my mind will change on that is proof that its harmful. Which I've only seen...

    Bee Pollen? The Right stuff?

The pollen that Is collected is not processed in the hive. This comes from external traps on the entryway of the hive. What your thinking of as far as processed inside the hive is Propolis I think. The other factors do apply and we are at the will of what's collected I agree. But I've used it...

Gutloading, are we doing it right?

Petr and I have had a small discussion on this and like his post. Where we just do not know what they need and in what amounts. I spoke to him about how I think the best approach given this info, and he agreed at the time with me, in a Blanket effect, covering as many nutrients as we can think...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

if you say so, this is where i'll just allow your belief and i'll have mine. but fog absolutely collects... Dewdrops... and no I did not state no other source of water. don't make assumptions cause I said they hydrate from it. so you've observed them long enough in the wild to completely...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

wanted to go back to this statement for a second. because no, simply the increase of humidity does not achieve the same goal. increasing the humidity will aid in water retention, but it will do pretty much nothing as far as hydrating. which is the goal of fogging. these are other effective...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

What is the current enclosure type is it screen or glass and what is your night time temperatures. Do you have any other means of increased airflow in the Room

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Unfortunately, in this respect I have to agree on the dangers. Because unfortunately probably 80-90% of your every day keepers... you know, the ones that worry about spending more than what their chameleon cost when they bought it. Probably shouldn't practice this because they probably dont keep...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Dangit @cyberlocc lol. Cause of my enthusiasm into this husbandry method you are provoking a non debater into the debate.

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Air circulation is extremely key yes. I do air exchanges as well as run intermittent air movement with several fans throughout the night. The stagnation of the air creates the ability for bacterial build up. This we know aside from fogging.

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

I can only report my own observations stemming from others theories. No there is no scientific proof behind this. And that is the camera footage I mentioned earlier. Do I have proof of what's happening. No but it is believed the video I have captured proves such theory. I have several...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Understood, I misperceived the intent of the OP when reading the madcham data about the micron size of the water, which leads down a different path of implying they do not breathe anything in. And no, the house humidifiers from what I understand and have seen owning some in the past once the...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Well I dont have Data points you'll consider valid as you insist on the scientific backed data. So I dont have Swab sampling for proof of clean ducting, I dont have water collection samples proving the water is bacteria free. I voiced how the ducting did in fact dry pit during the day despite...
