Red runners OK to roam free?

I just didn't want them nipping or biting him when he's asleep. Apparently crickets bite

Red runners OK to roam free?

We don't get hornworms. I've tried wax, meal, calci & silkworms. No interest!

Red runners OK to roam free?

Figaro, my six month old cam isn't eating as much as he used to. For some unknown reason, he's not touching the cup of red runners but will eat a few medium sized grasshoppers in a day. Is it OK to let a few roaches roam about his cage, maybe the movement would entice him better as they pass by...

    Not eating

Great video. I'm afraid it's either red runner roaches or hoppers he'll eat. Tried all the worms, to no avail.

    Not eating

Mine isn't eating any were near what he used to! Previously he'd had eaten around 5 grasshoppers and 4 red runner roaches. For around 4days he's only eaten 2 or 3 hoppers, and the occasional red runner. He's in great form though. His urates are pure white, an good sign he's well hydrated...

    APPETITE

Just noticed over the last two days, Figaro (appx 4 mths) hasn't eaten very much. He normally would eat around 4 hoppers and 4 red runner roaches per day. But it's down to a couple of hoppers only. His form is great and he's even coming round to stepping on to my hand after being here 2 months...

    Dusting Dilemma!

Thanks for the reply bud. Hand feeding isn't an option... Yet! To be honest he's eating around 5 hoppers covered in calcium everyday that's probably more than necessary!

    Dusting Dilemma!

Hi Folks I am just wondering if this problem can be resolved easily! I'm feeding Figaro roaches from a feeder cup. The only problem is that the six or so roaches are constantly climbing on top of each other. With the result, the calcium dust, is being inadvertently scraped off them all! I...

    Dubia vs Red Runner

Very interesting.... My cat, Honey (10), has had the sniffles and sneezing for almost two weeks now. I've only had the roaches for three weeks since getting rid of those hideous crickets! I'm just wondering, could it be the roaches causing this as in an allergy? Or perhaps its just a...

    Dubia vs Red Runner

Thanks so much for your reply. I. Had to stop getting crickets as a few inevitably escaped, wingless, then subsequently sprouted wings and began chirping all night long. I was ready to run away from home or I'd end up in the asylum! It actually got me very depressed due to lack of sleep. It was...

    Dubia vs Red Runner

Hi folks My new chameleon has a voracious appetite I'm glad to say. He's eating at least three hoppers and around eight roaches everyday! It's great to watch him sneak up and out pops that fabulous tongue of his! ?? Are there any advantages or disadvantages, feeding either of two types of...

    Cheesy maize snack?

I've heard red runner roaches love all orange coloured food. I've just tried them with a maize snack and they're loving it. Is it ok for them to eat this small snack food, along with apples, chow, carrots? As in for gut loading. Thanks for your help it's much appreciated.
