Sorry for your loss - I took on a cham much in the same state as yours, but as an adult - over £600/$900 later, x-rays yesterday showed that he still has a hell of a long way to go...you did the kindest thing

My cham has a small casque, but also came to me with a multitude of health problems - as long as you have your nutrition and husbandry right, any more growth due will happen - but maybe hes just quirky!
Also, have you tried feeding locusts? Crickets tend to scurry away and hide, mine wont...
I'm aware of how the chameleon tongue works - it grasps the prey - but is there also an element of stickiness? If so, what causes this?

yes - and in those photos - i havent seen any leaves? and theres standing water for it to drink from? - these people clearly know nothing about correct husbandry...
