Had such an interesting afternoon watching Mr Jingles. Our normal morning routine is me handfeeding him a couple of crics and then I place about 5 in the feeding cup and leave 3 to roam the cage. When I leave for work he sits on his leave and when I return about 9 hours later he sits on the...
I'm not sure if my baby flapneck is ok. He was with my sister the past weekend as I was away. He was a little stresses when I collected him yesterday afternoon, but did eat a couple of crics and looked ok. Today I i saw that he is not interested in his food and that he is slighly dehydrated. I...
Hehehe found Mr Jingles about 45 minutes after I switched the lights on waiting for me at his feeding dish. He looked like a puppy sitting there waiting for me to put crics in. Had to share as this was so cute
I found out after that I can't really keep them, but he is here now and I will make the best of it. I don't know the guy personally but saw the mother and father and there was about 12 little ones born. So I do believe he is captive bred.
He is a 10 week old flap neck chameleon born in captivity. I was clueless when I just got him and had him in the totally wrong enclosure to start with. He's only been in the right enclosure for about 3 days now
I'm actually a little jealous tha you can spend your days with your cham lol. I rush home after work to come see mine and spend some time with him. Enjoy him
Yeah, I finally managed Mr Jingles to hunt his crickets on his own. Up to now I had to either hand feed the little man or slightly squash his crkckets and put them one by one for him on a leave. Today I accidently dropped 2 od the crickets kn his enclosure and decided to take them out later...
Mr Jingles had such a bad day today. Firstly when I misted the cage he got a fright and climb up the mesh and fell straigth into his dripper cup. Poor baby does not like swimming much. I quickly rescues him, but he was so frightened that he jumped straight from my hand to the floor (carpet)...
Thank you all. The basking light is on top in the lid. I have rearranged his foilage so that it goes all the way to the top. I have live plants in the bottom as the Mr only drinks his water from the hibiscus and no where else lol. I'll make a plan to fix his basking light on ths outside...
At long last Mr Jingles is out of his fish tank and into the cage that I have build him. He had his first cricket and are kinda just eyeing everything now. Hope he is going to be happy in his new home
However he has so much vines to climb he wishes to scramble around on the mesh. Such a...
It is cute, my baby flapneck hates to be misted directly. He puffs himself up and turn dark. However if i mist all around him he actually runs to lick the water up all around him. He will walk around until all the drops are licked up and he doesn't even mind me watching him
Hallo there, i have Mr Jingles currently is a fish tank while I was building him a screen mesh cage. We are all done wkth the new cage and today is move day for the Mr. He is a 10 week old flapneck?? (I think) . He has been happy where he was, lighting is good and temperatures
Is good as...
Just quick update on Mr Jingles. The site was a wonderful reference for a first time cham mom. Mr Jingles is now 10 weeks old and after all my cage redoing due to incorrect thkngs I had in there and all the hours worrying because I can't get him to eat I have to say that he is doing great now...
How do you do cupfeeding? I found that the crickets jump out. I''ve tried various ways, but Mr Jingles are not interested. He's hunted a few from the bottom of his cage, but that is like one or maybe 2 a day. I''ve semi squashed his bugs the past 2 days and put them on a leave just out of his...
Please can you tell me a bit more about chameleons shedding? Nearly had a heart attack today when my daugter (12) called me to say she thinks Mr Jingles has exploded from the sun. (still said to me if that is the case, I'm a chameleon murderer lol) Oh my word he looked so yukky with loose skin...
