Yeah, this is what was recommended by his breeder, but I am going out now and will pick up some w/o d3.What about the Herptivite and Miner-all quantities?
Normally I feed five 1/2in crickets in the morning and three small silkworms in the afternoon. I ran out of silkies and could not get any until tomorrow so I have been giving him 8-10 crickets. He also gets one butterworm every other day.
My dusting schedule is
Monday- Herptivite...
I just saw my five month old panther go from his basking spot, and quickly to a spot on one of his branches and knaw on it three or four times ( I heard the grinding). Any ideas why he may be doing this?
It is odd to see someone dissing Julirs considering she is a huge contributer to this forum. She has helped many of the members of this site with problems, big and small. You do not have to agree with her, but the care and quality of her chameleons is obvious. Also, just putting it out there, if...
Unfortunatly I do not have access to any fresh mulberry, so I feed the pre-made chow. Is this okay? Also I think I may purchase a plain critter keeper without the cricket tubes, so there is more ventilation.
Unfortunatly not matter how much you clean they will be a breeding ground for bacteria. Plus if you want it for show, and you have to cover it with screen, whats the point right? I too wanted one but they just aren't worth it (in my opinion) for the chams.
I ordered some more silkies, but this time from mulberry farms. They do not havetheir pod/cup available so I had to just get the shipment in a dish. I will clean out my POS "silkworm keeper" and keep them under a basking light and NOT touch their food with my bare hands. Ahh. Crossing my fingers...
No, they come in a small dish and coastal silkworms sells a "silkworm keeper" but is actually just a plastic container and top from walmart with mesh on the bottom. Should I just keep them in what they arrive in? Here is the link to the "enclosure"...
I have ordered silkies twice now and lost them within a matter of days. I am keeping them in the enclosure bought at coastal silkworms, which is a plastic container with a mesh bottom with a cover that allows air flow. They are eating the pre made mullberry food, also bought at coastal...
I use the Little Dripper. It works very well and does its job. It is a bit tricky figuring out where to adjust the nozel to in order to get the correct water flow ( I try for about one drop per second), but once you get it, you're all set!
I have a 100watt Zoo Med Basking lamp/bulb.Today the temperature in the basking spot reached around 100 degrees, which I know is way too high. Tomorrow I am raising the lamp off the enclosure, hoping this will help. Is there an alternative bulb anyone would recommend that I should switch too if...
