    I lived in Buffalo, NY for 8 years. I kept 4 generations of Veiled Chameleon with no issue by misting more frequently.

    May I know where you are located and the daily humidity? If you are afraid of compactum, remove the moss. Instead, try to mist the cage more frequently.

    Hey TyMonster, In the wild as well as in captivity, it is normal observation for veiled to add some vegetative in their diet. So not to worry.:D

    I use pretty much the same ingredient above but I substitute the sugar with honey (2-3 table spoon) as honey is a natural substance to inhibit bacterial growth.

    My female and breeding

    When i started breeding Panther, I waited for the female to reach about 1 years old before i breed them. That is my personal preference. Maybe you can use 1-2 months to make sure she is getting enough nutrition and calcium before starting to mate her. Better to be safe than sorry.
