Because of the way i am holding him. He is actually pretty calm most of the time he was just really pissed in these pix because i was deep cleaning his cage and had to pick him up and put him in the holding tank.

That very well may be the case. They are definitely one of my favorite species that I have kept so far.

I have actually heard of Tokay geckos guarding their young and I have also heard of males protecting and "looking after" the eggs which is a really unique behavior for male reptiles in general. On the other hand I have also heard of some Tokays that decide to make a meal of their young so I...

I love my Tokay, Loki. He has so much personality. He does let me handle him occasionally but the majority of the time I get barked at if I even open his enclosure lol.

It looks so much like slow release fertilizer but I don't see how the cham could ingest it for that long and not get ill.

Taking a shot in the dark here, but has your chameleon been around any plants with fertilizer beads in the soil? Pretty sure your chameleon would already be very ill if that was the case but you never know.

i have a crested, tokay, and several leopard geckos. Most of my geckos came from rescue situations where the owner was not providing proper care or no longer wanted the responsibility.
