Headed to Maine from DC for at least 1 month, possibly 2 to be with my mother and it's easier to bring him with me, than board him somewhere strange or have a stranger come into my home every other day. Can't fly with him, so driving instead.

That’s not the issue; due to driving far for a day and the schedule it’s more of a forced sleep schedule; he normally sleeps only at night and is fine.
So I have the solarmeter, which has proven to be very useful for his normal/permanent setup, and I'm building the temporary one this weekend (will send pics), I'm using the SolarGlo PT2334 - 80 watt 2-in-1 bulb, but according to Exo Terra's instructions on the packaging (attached) and their UVB...
So I'm driving from DC to Maine and it's roughly a 9-10 hour drive. We leave at 6am, so my lil guy will have just been asleep from the night prior (7pm) to when I wake him the next morning (10.5 hours later) at 5:30am to place him in his box for the car ride 30 mins. later. This means he'll be...
There's a video of Don doing a Q&A on IG and they asked him if he makes a living from being a breeder and he said well let me just say I have anywhere from 2,000 at one time (and if the average price is $500, that's a lot of dough), guy just finished law school, maybe this helped put him through it?
I have no idea on proper breeder protocol, instead of what they do in this IG video, what is the better alternative? P.S. I got my lil dude from them, haven't had any issues (other than my own inexperience proving to be a challenge from time to time)
They are hot/cold in personalities. Plus he is what like 9 months old now? He is going into maturity. They start defending their territory as they mature. Him hiding and turning his body more stick like is telling you to back off and that he does not want to be seen. They will also react to new...
whew you made me feel better. So he's being a teenager basically :P I did wear a bright yellow shirt today but then changed to striped thinking that could be the culprit.
My general questionnaire was filled out and posted here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/new-member-cham-owner-please-rate-my-setup.175424/page-2
My lil dude is usually very sweet, rarely hisses or gapes, and normally, like on a daily basis, he heads my way to climb on my head or arm...
Personally I would not use a 2 in 1 bulb without having a solarmeter 6.5 to double check your UVI level. You want no higher then a 3 UVI at basking. Higher risk of over exposure without a solarmeter to make sure with your distance. and you really need to watch your distance for temps. They can...
