What kind of cage do you have? I have a reptibreeze and on the corners are plastic caps. If you pull a cap off it makes a small hole in the corner... small enough to the run the mistking tube tightly through.
I agree. Lights go off at night anyways for temp drop down to 65 degrees. The extra UVB light shouldn't emit any heat. I already have a basking spot with a heat light up top. The extra light is simply for the plants, but it shouldn't mess with any temperatures. I will see what I can find. If it...
If you can swing it, I would go up to the 24x24x48. It isn't that much more in cost that the 36" reptibreeze. Your chameleon will even more space to grow into. The 36" is suitable for adults, but I think the extra space is worth it and I think your cham will appreciate it too. I use the 18" zoo...
I am working on taming mine too... I learned a secret today that made a huge difference and he ate so many worms and crickets out of my hand today. The secret is don't look at him. I covered my eyes and looked through a split in my fingers. Once he gets used to eating from your hand, then you...
That is amazing!! Mine is 4.5 months too... I think. But definitely not showing any colors like that.... and he is supposed to be similar in coloring as a blue bar ambilobe.
It's is just gorgeous! You did a wonderful job! I love watching my little guy explore his new cage for the first time. It didn't explore much the first couple days but now he goes all over after he warms up!
It looks wonderful! Do you have some pictures of Hank?? I got a blue bar ambilobe... but when he excites he shows red bars and a yellow body. This is becoming more noticeable because he shed last week. I don't know if this is the normal color progression for a blue bar, but I can't see how the...
I bought a blue bar ambilobe from FL Chams... but I am thinking it is a fireball. As he grows into his colors, he shows red bars and a yellow body when he excites and in resting looks most similar to yours. Does yours have yellow body as well?
