    Feeders for Juveniles

Yes Phoenix worms like someone said above! They are very nutritional and high in calcium for chameleons. I just ordered a 100 count from Joshsfrogs.com today.

    Roaches

California has weird laws. You can't buy ferrets here either. Sucks about the roaches, I always hear people saying how good the dubias are. I'm sure there are sites that will ship them illegally lol

    Roaches

Dubia roaches seem to be the most popular roach to feed to your cham but I just tried to order some from Josie's frogs and they can't ship dubias to California, crap. So what's everyone's opinion on other kinds of roaches? Joshes frogs also has isopods and Madagascar hissing roaches. I'm looking...

Is my chameleon small for being 6-7months old?

He looks like a good size for his age. Not to small and not too big. Average growth :)

    Reptile Expo

I just went to my first reptile expo in Sacramento California. In my experience the animals themselves were cheaper but all the supplies and accessories seemed to be the same price. Also if you're looking to see chameleons they are normally highly out numbered compared to snakes and geckos. Most...

    Chameleon colors

Hey guys, I was just curious when everyone's chams first started developing their colors. I know everyone chameleon is different and can show very early on, or some even taking up to 6 months. My 3.5 month Faly still only has his baby colors.

    Enclosure Setup for Baby Panther

oh and the sticks are from my grandparents mulberry tree. Mulberry trees are really good for chameleon branches. So if you know anyone with a mulberry tree you're in luck. The sticks you buy at the pet store are SO overpriced

    Enclosure Setup for Baby Panther

All I did was measure out 2 cage sides and then I cut little strip pieces of black duct tape and used that. I didn't want it to be permanently on there. The duct tape holds really good and doesn't look janky because the cage is black so it blends in.

When you get your cham you should make an Instagram for him. That's also a way to meet other chameleon owners and see pictures of everyone's cham. If you ever make one and want to follow mine it's @sullythenosyfaly

    Enclosure Setup for Baby Panther

I'm In no means a light expert. But when I picked up my baby Panther from his breeder he said it was very very important for us to specifically get the 5.0 UV light as soon as we could. I can't remember what brand it was, probably zoo med. They sell it at petco. When you get your Panther, I'm...

    Enclosure Setup for Baby Panther

Oh AC kills humidity. Sometimes we have to close our vents in our room because that's where we keep our cham. I live about 2 hours from Fresno. Are you going to the Fresno reptile show to get your baby? I'm going to Sacramento one at the end of September
