I thought it could be infected but sort of ruled it out due to what his eye looks like....I watered his cage and he drank like crazy and then i put crickets in his cage, he opened the right eye for about 3 seconds and then squeezed it shut, a red bulge appeared in the bottom corner of his eye...

I highly respect the notion that chameleons should not be handled frequently because it can cause an unwanted amount of stress to my chamy, but i was wondering if there are any methods to getting your chameleon more tolerable to handling or even better yet, just not scared of its owner.
